Megachurch Pastor: Obama’s Re-Election Will ‘Pave The Way’ For ‘Reign Of The Antichrist’
Speaking before congregants on the Sunday before the election, the Christian Post reports that the pastor said:
“I want you to hear me tonight, I am not saying that President Obama is the Antichrist, I am not saying that at all. One reason I know he’s not the Antichrist is the Antichrist is going to have much higher poll numbers when he comes,” said Jeffress.
“President Obama is not the Antichrist. But what I am saying is this: the course he is choosing to lead our nation is paving the way for the future reign of the Antichrist.”
He later added that “it is time for Christians to stand up and to push back against this evil that is overtaking our nation” by voting against the president.
Jeffress recently stirred controversy when he told a radio hosts that despite GOP candidate Mitt Romney being a part of the “cult” of Mormonism, Americans should vote for him because President Barack Obama is sinful and “shakes its fist” at God in defiance.
